Carved ancient heart beads swing silver wire wrapped below weathered, antique “skunk” trade beads.
The carved beads are Egyptian Faience and over 2000 years old!
Made from crushed quartz, sand and various other bits. The texture was etched into them before being fired .
Blue flash moonstone sit at the very top.
I have been collecting ancient and antique beads for most of my adult life and am slowly parting with them a few at a time in my designs.
I love how the old & new coming together looks & feels!
